UNDERWATER RESEARCH APPLICATION CENTER 2021 ACTIVITY REPORT

ÇOMÜ Underwater Research and Application Center Activity Information Covering 01 January - 31 December 2021 is as follows. As every year, it carried out underwater-related meetings, projects and activities with ÇOMÜ Faculty of Marine Sciences and Technology.

1. Participation in the panel titled "Ecology, Economic and Social Effects of Mucilage and Solution Suggestions" (June 3, 2021)

2. Participation in the shooting of the documentary called "Bir Umut Marmara" (9 June 2021)

Participation with a presentation in the 3rd Coordination Meeting Against Mucilage in Çanakkale. (June 17, 2021)

4. Participation in the panel titled "We Discuss the Healthy Marine Ecosystem and Mucilage Problem" (25 June 2021)

5. Participation in July 1 Cabotage Day events

6. Participation in the Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park Opening Events was provided (02.10.2021).

7. Participation in the Karina Marine Cultural Center Opening (02.12.2021)

Additionally, a cooperation protocol was signed between Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality. Within the scope of this protocol, the Underwater Research and Application Center carries out the project named "Ghost Net Hunters, Marmara" on behalf of the University. The project will continue for 3 years.

The activities of ÇOMÜ Underwater Research and Application Center continue with the same momentum in 2022.
